Welcoming Two New Stars to the WLMH Family
The WLMH Foundation was honoured to welcome two very special arrivals this week, each earning a complimentary place on our A Star is Born Wall of Fame—one marking the end of an era, and the other celebrating a brand-new beginning.
⭐ The Final Birth in Our Legacy Hospital
Baby Robbie Lennon Beaudette made her debut on Sunday, November 23 at 8:40 a.m., becoming the very last baby born in our legacy West Lincoln Memorial Hospital. Robbie and her mom, Lydia, were also the final patients transferred from the old building to the new WLMH later that same day.
Lydia and dad Shawn shared how meaningful it was to read the inspirational notes left by past patients and caregivers on the walls of the Maternal and Newborn Care unit. They expressed deep appreciation for the exceptional care and compassion they received throughout their experience.
⭐ The First Birth in the New West Lincoln Memorial Hospital
On Monday, November 24 at 10:42 a.m., Baby Singh made history as the very first baby born in the new West Lincoln Memorial Hospital. Proud parents Navpreet and Jaswinder described their experience as “five-star,” noting how welcomed and supported they felt. They said having their baby born in the new hospital felt “like heaven.”
💛 A Warm Welcome
The WLMH Foundation extends heartfelt congratulations to both families during this extraordinary moment in our hospital’s history. We warmly welcome Baby Robbie and Baby Singh to our community and wish their parents endless joy as they begin this new chapter.
