The Ace of Spades was found! Christine V. of Grimsby found the elusive Ace of Spades at Teddy’s on Thursday, October 6 winning the Catch the Ace progressive jackpot of $2,301. A draw was held every Thursday for the past 15 weeks and each week a participant received proceeds of the sales from that week with a chance to select a card, looking for the Ace of Spades.
Christine stated that her decision to choose envelope number 7 was based on her wedding anniversary being October 7, the next day. Christine and her husband were in Teddy’s that night with friends to celebrate the occasion.
Pamela Ellens, Executive Director, WLMH Foundation states, “The Foundation would like to thank Teddy’s (Simon Duong) for providing the amazing venue for the Catch the Ace lottery each week. Also, to all the community members who participated each week raising funds for the capital equipment needs of WLMH.”
