The West Lincoln Memorial Hospital Foundation is thrilled to announce that this year’s Tim Hortons Smile Cookie campaign raised an incredible $30,669 in support of patient care at West Lincoln Memorial Hospital.
From April 28 to May 4, community members came together to purchase thousands of the iconic, hand-decorated Smile Cookies at Tim Hortons locations in Grimsby. Every dollar from each cookie sold was donated directly to the WLMH Foundation, supporting critical health care needs and equipment at the hospital.
“We are so grateful to the local Tim Hortons owners, their staff, and every single person who bought a cookie — or dozens — to support health care close to home,” said Pamela Ellens, Executive Director of the WLMH Foundation. “This campaign continues to show the power of community and the sweet impact small gestures can make.”
This year’s overwhelming result reflects the ongoing dedication of the community and Tim Hortons franchisees to improving local health care services.
The funds raised will contribute to priority medical equipment that ensures high-quality care for patients across West Niagara and surrounding areas.
The WLMH Foundation extends a heartfelt thank you to everyone who helped make this campaign a success — from the bakers and volunteers to the supporters who shared smiles across the region.
