A record-breaking number of Smiles: Tim Hortons® raises more than $12 million throughout national Smile Cookie Campaign, a new record, $41,805.90 to be donated to West Lincoln Memorial Hospital
Restaurant owners from Grimsby, Lincoln and West Lincoln are donating 100% of proceeds from sales of Smile Cookies to West Lincoln Memorial Hospital this fall
GRIMSBY, OCTOBER 28, 2021 – Tim Hortons restaurant owners, Larry Thornley, Chris Ridieger and Ryan DiTomasso along with their teams, in Grimsby, Lincoln and West Lincoln and many generous patrons across West Niagara broke a new Smile Cookie record by raising $41,805.90 for our local hospital.
Tim Hortons restaurants and millions of generous Canadians across the country combined broke a new Smile Cooke record by raising more than $12 million for local charities across the country.
“Thank you to the dedicated teams at the Grimsby, Lincoln and West Lincoln Tim Hortons for supporting our West Lincoln Memorial Hospital. Since 2005, Tim Hortons Smile Cookie Campaign has raised over $237,581 for our local hospital. Thank you to the many volunteers that came to the restaurants to help bake and decorate the cookies,” states Pamela Ellens, Executive Director, WLMH Foundation.

- In 2020, the Smile Cookie campaign raised $10.56 million across Canada
- The Tim Hortons Smile Cookie program started in 1996, originally raising funds for Hamilton Children’s Hospital. Twenty-five years later, the annual charitable campaign has now raised a total of more than $77 million for charities selected every year by restaurant owners.
- Nationally, Tim Hortons restaurant owners support over 600 local charities, hospitals and community programs through the Smile Cookie campaign
