Here at the Foundation we are grateful for the Grimsby Music LIVE@The Woolverton summer program of live, open air, free concerts which is ready to make some noise for the West Lincoln Memorial Hospital.
Grimsby Music LIVE@The Woolverton will host twice monthly concerts from July to September and all shows are being produced by Jon Acheson, owner and operator of Grimsby Music at 13 Mountain Street @The Woolverton and open to the music loving public.
The outdoor stage and COVID protocols mean that everything is fluid so Jon and spouse Sara are ready to deliver this unique, live music experience for the community and by the community accordingly. Performances are from 4PM to 7PM and are free to enjoy by those attending in the site parking lot.
Each event date will be a showcase opportunity for Niagara region musicians in an eclectic mix up of genres, ages, and musical tastes.
Grimsby Music LIVE@The Woolverton is one of The Woolverton Music Art Community initiatives at 19 Elm and 13 Mountain. The Grimsby Music LIVE@The Woolverton series will give musicians, particularly emerging local youth, a chance to show their talent and provide the community an opportunity to get out and enjoy some much-needed live musical entertainment. Performers will be eligible to enter a draw for The Woolverton sponsored gift certificates– redeemable at shops and services of the Downtown Improvement Association (DIA).
A special August 12 program will include a donation to our WLMH Foundation ‘Take it to the Finish’ campaign for the new West Lincoln Memorial Hospital with special guests in attendance.
Watch for performance dates/lineup in local print media and social media. Those wishing to perform can contact grimsbymusicshop.com or call Grimsby Music at 289 965 9407.
