Giant Tiger, Grimsby Provides Twofold Support for Local Healthcare at WLMH

Posted on July 31st, 2020 in News

Today, July 31, marks the start of a new bylaw making masks mandatory in all indoor public spaces in the Niagara Region.

Giant Tiger is offering masks to the community at the purchase price of $1 each.  All proceeds from these sales will be donated to the WLMH Foundation in support of our West Lincoln Memorial Hospital.  Andy Daniels, owner of Grimsby Giant Tiger and Kevin Antonides, Chair WLMH Foundation showcase the masks available in the photo.

Giant Tiger in Grimsby is also launching an initiative allowing customers to round up their transaction to the nearest dollar for much needed medical equipment.

“Rounding up for Charity. It is a truly modern form of giving. This innovative initiative turns pocket change into a big boost for our hospital.  We are grateful to Andy Daniels, owner of Giant Tiger, Grimsby for his novel and generous partnership,” stated Kevin Antonides, Chair of the West Lincoln Memorial Hospital Foundation Governing Board.

Giant Tiger is a proud, Canadian owned and operated discount retailer. Giant Tiger franchise owners become members of the community, sharing community concerns and serving community needs.  Giant Tiger, Grimsby is owned and operated by Andy Daniels.  This store offers a unique and friendly place to shop and discover, and a staff that is dedicated to being connected and committed to our community.
