On November 28, 2018, the Ontario government announced its intention to rebuild a new West Lincoln Memorial Hospital.
The new West Lincoln Memorial Hospital (WLMH)*
- Size: Maximum of 119,705 square feet
- Estimated Cost: $200 M
- Includes:
- 56 Inpatient beds
- 8 Nursery bassinets
- 5 Labour birthing and recovery suites
- Programs:
- Acute Inpatient Services
- Emergency Department
- Ambulatory Services
- Complex Continuing Care
- Maternal and Newborn Services
- Day Surgical Services and Endoscopy

Investing in Life Campaign – Phase 1
In 2000 the Foundation launched a $12.5m ‘bricks and mortar’ campaign to build a new West Lincoln Memorial Hospital.
The Foundation is pleased to announce that this goal has been fulfilled by dollars raised and pledges, substantiating the dream for a new hospital. Contributions received from phase 1 will remain secure in a restricted trust fund until our dream becomes a reality.
