Quality Care… Community Investment…
Project X-ray is a $3.6 million community initiative that will provide the residents of West Niagara with state of the art radiology equipment.
Your investment will provide West Lincoln Memorial Hospital with general x-ray service, as well as fluoroscopy examination in real time. West Lincoln Memorial Hospital will be able to provide ultrasound technology which has echocardiogram and colour doppler capacities. Mobile radiography systems can provide immediate images on the monitor wherever needed. Images can be validated immediately after exposure. Modern mammography units will provide physicians with clearer imaging and allow more surety of diagnosis without the need for invasive techniques. A Picture Archiving and Communication System (PACS) will enable images such as x-rays and scans to be stored electronically and viewed on video screens. Doctors and other health professionals can then access the information and compare it with previous images at the touch of a button.
Absolutely vital to the success of Project X-ray, is a community investment of $3.6 million.
