We’re proud to report
that the West Lincoln Memorial Hospital Foundation raised
over $13.5 million through the Investing in Life campaign
– the largest fundraising effort in our community's
history.
Thanks to the generous contributions of
municipal councils, the boards, staff, physicians, dentists,
auxilians, volunteers and many other friends we’re
on track with raising the necessary funds for the new building
and the capital equipment. For information on the status
of the new hospital, scheduled to have “the shovel
in the ground” in July 2011, please go to the West
Lincoln Memorial Hospital’s website and click New
Building Update.
With this building campaign complete,
the Foundation is now focusing its efforts on fundraising
for the hospital’s capital equipment (100% of the
costs of equipment must be raised locally and will not be
paid for by Ministry of Health and Long Term Care). The
current initiative is the $3.6 M Project X-ray and we already
have over $1.5 million pledged.
