On behalf of the West Lincoln Memorial Hospital Foundation Governing Board and staff, thank you for visiting our website.

The West Lincoln Memorial Hospital Foundation operates exclusively as a non-profit, charitable foundation, raising funds to support the hospital’s medical programs and health services. Our goal is to enable West Lincoln Memorial Hospital to provide quality healthcare services to the 65,000 residents of west Niagara and to meet west Niagara’s changing health care needs now and in the future.

Through the continued investments made by our community, the West Lincoln Memorial Hospital Foundation provides independent funding for medical equipment, education and facility improvements. The Foundation does not provide funds for operating expenses.

As the new president of the Foundation, I am serving at an exciting time in our history with the building of a new hospital on the horizon. The necessary funds are in place, plans for the building of the new hospital are on-track and we know that the residents of Grimsby, West Lincoln and Lincoln are fully behind us. With the recent funding changes through the Ministry of Health and Long Term Care, our fundraising focus has shifted to filling the hospital (our current one and our new one) with the required new medical equipment. You may have already attended one of our community information sessions and learned about the success of our fund-raising campaigns to date. Our current campaign, Project X-ray, is a 3.6 M campaign to raise the funds necessary to equip our hospital with state of the art imaging equipment. All new equipment purchased will be used at our current facility and moved to the new hospital once it is built. We are in effect, building the new hospital from the inside out. We are fortunate to have a wonderful hospital in this community, and it is with the support of you and many others that we can continue to support West Lincoln Memorial Hospital’s mission to improve the health and quality of life of our communities.
