Gift in Kind giving is an investment of a non-cash gift. Examples of gift in kind giving include mutual funds, securities, real estate and tangible property such as artwork, books, equipment, etc.

Prior to transferring a gift in kind, donors are asked to contact the Foundation Office to ensure that the assets have value to the on-going work the Foundation and discuss the income tax rules for receipting the gift.
